Don’t drop a pebble in a still pond
Unless you want a ripple
And if a ripple you want,
Don’t be a pawn or cripple

Waiting for an unknown or calamity
To overtake your yawning dreams
Or impinge upon your limpid reality
And don’t you release your screams

I dare forewarn you,
They are little pebbles too
Reining you like a gentled horse
They will sweet adieu for you rouse.

Don’t drop a pebble in a still pond
Unless you want a ripple
And if a ripple you damn want,
Do not be a pawned cripple.
